Why Teams Switch
Real reasons from teams that evaluated Comms by Osis and chose Tuco AI.
Onboarding call included. One call covers technical setup — CRM connection and your first workflow. Apple IDs managed for you.
Real Apple hardware. A dedicated iPhone with a carrier eSIM per line, hosted on a Mac. Not emulators. Not shared VMs.
One number. Globally. No A2P registration. No country-specific sender IDs. One iMessage identity, everywhere.
15-65% reply rates. From leads that ghosted email and LinkedIn. 25% of those replies were positive.
$51 less a month per line
$149 against $200 for a dedicated line that can start conversations. The first year is $277 lower even after the $335 setup, and $635 lower on annual billing.
Your CRM, not just an API
Native HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Pipedrive and Close apps: workflow-triggered sends, replies on the contact record, and CRM opt-out fields checked before every send. Comms lists no native CRM apps on its pricing or product pages.
A published new-contact ceiling
A dedicated line is one Apple ID. Tuco AI publishes the ceiling that keeps it healthy, about 50 new contacts and 150 total messages a day, and paces sends to it.
AI included, not metered on top
Manual, Copilot and Autopilot reply modes with AI credits included by plan. Comms bills hosted-agent AI usage separately through prepaid credits or your own OpenRouter account.
Calls on the same number
500 outgoing minutes a month with recording on every line, so a reply that needs a call stays on the number the lead already knows.
Fallback without A2P 10DLC
Contacts not on iMessage get SMS from the line’s own number in the same thread, with no brand registration.

FAQ
Questions. Answered.
What is Comms by Osis?
Comms by Osis is a hosted iMessage and SMS API from Osis. As of November 6, 2026 it offers a free shared test line limited to 100 messages a day, Plus at $50 a month on a shared line, Dedicated at $200 a month per line with $0 setup, and custom Enterprise plans. It includes a team inbox, optional hosted AI agents with AI usage billed separately, a hosted MCP server, and RCS on eligible dedicated lines. Its SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 reports are listed as in progress.
Is Tuco AI cheaper than Comms by Osis?
Yes, for a dedicated line that can start conversations. Tuco AI is $149 a month plus a $335 one-time setup, $2,123 for the first year, or $1,765 on annual billing. Comms Dedicated is $200 a month with no setup fee, $2,400 for the first year. From the second year the gap is $51 a month per line, or $970 a year on Tuco AI annual billing. Prices as of November 6, 2026.
Which is better for HubSpot, Salesforce or GoHighLevel?
Tuco AI. It installs over OAuth with a native HubSpot workflow action, a Salesforce Flow action that logs Tasks on the Lead, Contact or Opportunity, and a GoHighLevel conversation provider so replies appear in the sub-account Conversations tab. CRM opt-out fields are checked immediately before each send. Comms by Osis lists no native CRM apps on its pricing or product pages, so the mapping, retries and write-back are yours to build against its API.
How do the daily limits compare?
Tuco AI publishes about 50 new contacts and 150 total messages per line per day and paces sends to stay inside them, because Apple restricts a number that adds new contacts too fast. Comms by Osis publishes up to 7,000 messages a day per line on Dedicated and no separate limit on new contacts. Both are one line on one Apple ID; more volume means more lines.
Which has the better developer surface?
Both offer a REST API with signed webhooks. Tuco AI adds an OpenAPI spec you can open at tuco.ai/openapi.json, an iMessage availability-check endpoint, a TypeScript SDK and an MCP server published on npm that runs alongside Claude Desktop or Cursor. Comms by Osis hosts its MCP server at an endpoint with OAuth or API-key access.
Can I switch from Comms by Osis to Tuco AI?
Yes. Tuco AI ports an existing number in, which takes 3–7 business days, or provisions a new line in a minimum of 48 hours while the carrier activates its eSIM. Connect your CRM over OAuth, re-point your webhooks to Tuco AI, and import your opted-in contacts. Tuco AI is for opted-in and inbound contacts only.
