Why Teams Switch

Real reasons from teams that evaluated Sendara and chose Tuco AI.

🛠

We build your integration. Full implementation support included — CRM setup, workflow config, ongoing Apple ID management.

💻

Real Apple hardware. Dedicated Mac Mini per customer with failover. Not emulators. Not shared VMs.

🌍

One number. Globally. No A2P registration. No country-specific sender IDs. One iMessage identity, everywhere.

📈

5-10% reply rates. From leads that ghosted email and LinkedIn. 25% of those replies were positive.

$100 a month cheaper on line one

Sendara Pro is $249/month for the first line plus a $99 setup. Tuco Starter is $149 plus $335. Year one is $3,087 versus $2,123 — Tuco saves $964. At two lines the gap holds: $4,875 versus $3,923. Sendara’s lower setup fee is repaid to them in the first four months of subscription.

A 70–90% response rate is not a benchmark, it is a billboard

Sendara’s homepage advertises an average iMessage response rate of 70–90%. Tuco publishes 5–10% on opt-in lists with about 25% positive intent, measured across 100+ analysed B2B campaigns, alongside ~94% delivery and 96–98% open rates. Both cannot be right. Ours has a dataset and a methodology attached to it.

The daily ceiling exists whether or not it is printed

Sendara advertises unlimited iMessage texting. Apple does not offer unlimited anything — Tuco publishes roughly 50 new contacts and 150 total messages per line per day, because exceeding that is what gets a line blocked. A vendor that will not name its ceiling has not removed the ceiling, only the warning.

Voice on the same number, included

Tuco Starter includes 500 minutes a month of two-way calling on the same dedicated number that sends your iMessages, with recordings and transcripts logged to your CRM. Sendara offers FaceTime as a $99/month add-on and does not publish standard two-way calling. Leads recognise the number that just texted them.

The automation layer is the product

Tuco ships a prompt-to-sequence campaign builder, an AI SDR that qualifies inbound replies against your knowledge base, CRM stop conditions, an MCP server for AI agents, and Telegram and email bridges. Sendara ships the pipe and expects your CRM to be the brain.

A limits page, published on purpose

Tuco publishes 13 limits at /limitations: 48-hour eSIM activation, first-message rules, no blasting, spam bans and the ban ladder, no refunds, no HIPAA, no BAA, no FaceTime yet. Read it before you buy. No competitor in this category publishes an equivalent, and it is the fastest way to find out whether iMessage is wrong for you before you pay anyone.

FAQ

Questions. Answered.

Is Sendara cheaper than Tuco AI?

Only on the setup fee. Sendara charges $99 to activate against Tuco’s $335, but Sendara Pro is $249/month against Tuco Starter’s $149. The $236 setup advantage is gone by month three, and by month twelve Tuco is $964 cheaper on a single line and $952 cheaper on two. Tuco also offers a 20% annual discount; Sendara is month-to-month only.

Sendara advertises a 70–90% response rate. Is that realistic for iMessage?

Not on our data. Across 100+ analysed B2B campaigns Tuco measures 5–10% reply rates on opt-in lists, with roughly 25% of those replies carrying positive intent, on ~94% delivery and 96–98% open rates. Open rates for iMessage genuinely are extraordinary. Reply rates in the 70–90% range are not something we have observed on any campaign, and Sendara does not publish the sample behind the figure. Ask any vendor quoting a number like that which campaigns produced it and over what period.

What does Sendara do better than Tuco?

Three real things. FaceTime calling as a $99/month add-on, which Tuco has on the roadmap but not live. Number porting, so you can bring an existing number instead of taking a fresh eSIM. And a $99 setup fee against Tuco’s $335. If any of those is a hard requirement, Sendara is the better fit and Tuco will not pretend otherwise.

Do both skip A2P 10DLC registration?

For the iMessage leg, yes — iMessage runs on Apple’s network, not the US carrier SMS system, so there is no brand registration and no per-message carrier surcharge for either vendor. If you use SMS fallback, that leg does follow carrier rules and does need registration. Tuco handles that registration for you; check with Sendara how they treat the fallback leg, since their pages advertise the exemption without splitting the two.

Can I use either platform for cold outreach?

Tuco does not permit it — opt-in and inbound leads only, meaning people who gave you their number through a form, an ad, a webinar, or an existing relationship. Apple treats spam as a switch rather than a score, and roughly three Report Junk taps can retire a number permanently. Sendara does not publish a cold-outreach policy either way. Whichever you choose, the ban risk sits on your line, not the vendor’s.

How current is Sendara’s site?

Every URL in Sendara’s sitemap carries a last-modified date of 13 July 2026 across all 24 pages, and the sitemap has not moved since. That is not a product judgement — plenty of good software has a quiet marketing site — but if you are comparing pricing or features, confirm the figures with them directly rather than assuming the page is current.

Can I switch from Sendara to Tuco?

Yes. Export contacts and sequences, and Tuco provisions a dedicated line on a real iPhone with a fresh carrier eSIM. Budget 48 hours minimum for carrier activation. One thing to plan for: Tuco does not port numbers, so you take a new number provisioned by ZIP code rather than carrying your Sendara line across. If your existing number has recognition with your list, factor that in before switching.

Which should a GoHighLevel agency pick?

Both integrate with GoHighLevel and both offer an agency mode with a line per client sub-account. The difference is unit economics and risk controls. At five client lines Tuco is $725/month against Sendara’s $845, and at ten it is $1,400 against $1,590. Tuco also tracks sending limits and the ban ladder per client sub-account rather than across your whole account, so one client’s bad list does not put your other clients’ lines at risk.
