Close + Tuco AI.

Two-way iMessage inside Close. A lead field starts the campaign, every message and reply lands in Close's own SMS conversation view, and reps get Close's native notification when a lead answers.

How does iMessage work with Close?

Tuco AI connects to Close over OAuth, starts an iMessage campaign when a lead's Tuco Campaign field is set, and mirrors every message and reply into the Close lead's SMS conversation view.

  • Trigger: The Tuco Campaign lead field, set by hand, from a Close Workflow or with a Smart View bulk edit.
  • Where messages appear: Outbound and inbound SMS activities on the lead, in Close’s own conversation view.
  • Replies: Close’s native notification, plus a Text with Tuco link and the Chrome extension on the lead page.
  • Every line dedicated: A dedicated number on its own iPhone with a carrier eSIM. No shared number pools.
  • Price: $149 per line per month plus a one-time $335 setup, no per-message fee, Close integration included.

How iMessage for CRM works across HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Pipedrive and Close

How it works

  1. Connect Close over OAuth. Installing Tuco AI into your Close org adds two lead custom fields, a filtered webhook subscription and a Text with Tuco link on every lead. Nothing is installed on your own hardware: each line is a dedicated iPhone with a carrier eSIM, hosted on a Mac and monitored 24/7.
  2. Start a campaign from the Tuco Campaign field. Close has no slot for a third-party workflow action, so the trigger is a lead field. Set Tuco Campaign by hand, from a Close Workflow update-lead step, or with a Smart View bulk edit, and the lead is enrolled in that Tuco AI campaign, which handles pacing, send windows, follow-ups and stop-on-reply.
  3. Every message lands in Close’s SMS conversation view. Each Tuco AI send appears as an outbound SMS activity on the Close lead, and each reply appears as an inbound one, so the whole thread lives in the conversation view your reps already use. Close custom fields can be used as variables in the message.
  4. Reps get Close’s own reply notifications and reply from the lead. Inbound replies raise Close’s native notification. Reps answer from the Text with Tuco link or the Tuco Chrome extension on the lead page, and calls go out from the same number.

Common questions

Can I send iMessage from Close CRM?

Yes. Tuco AI connects to Close over OAuth and sends real iMessages from a dedicated business number on its own iPhone. Every message and reply is mirrored into the Close lead as an SMS activity, so the thread sits in Close’s own conversation view, and contacts who are not on iMessage get SMS from the same number.

How do I trigger an iMessage campaign from Close?

With the Tuco Campaign lead field. Close does not let third-party apps add workflow actions, so setting that field is the trigger: by hand on a lead, from a Close Workflow update-lead step, or with a Smart View bulk edit. The lead is then enrolled in the chosen Tuco AI campaign, which handles pacing, send windows, follow-ups and stopping when the lead replies.

Do iMessage replies show up in Close?

Yes. Each reply is logged on the lead as an inbound SMS activity and raises Close’s native notification, so the rep sees it in Close without watching a second inbox. Reps reply from the Text with Tuco link or the Tuco Chrome extension on the lead page.

Will a lead ever get the same message twice?

Tuco AI guards against it at four layers: the Close webhook event, the action itself, the job queue and a final duplicate check before the send. It also never asks Close to send a text of its own, which is what would otherwise message a lead twice.

How much does the Close integration cost?

The Close integration is included. Tuco AI is $149 per line per month plus a one-time $335 setup, with no per-message fee. Each line is a dedicated number on its own iPhone with about 50 new contacts and 150 total messages a day, and calls on the same number with 500 minutes a month included.
